I am happy to announce that the Innovation Investment Process (IIP) Web site has been relocated to www.health.mil/IIP. Why is this important to you? Read on.
The Innovation Investment Process is a corporate-driven effort that allows the MHS to expeditiously develop large-scale initiatives that reduce costs and improve quality, access, patient/beneficiary satisfaction or readiness in the MHS. The IIP provides an opportunity for your innovative ideas to be proposed, analyzed and presented to senior leadership, and, if chosen, implemented across the MHS.
On the Web site, you can read more about when and why the IIP was developed (Overview and FAQ tabs) and who exactly is involved in the IIP (Leadership and Proponency Group tabs). The Web site accessible brochure “A Call for Good Ideas” provides more information on idea topics and the review process that happens after you’ve shared your idea through the “Submit a Concept” tab. E-mail received through the “Contact” tab is accessed regularly by IIP team members, who respond to all submissions within five business days.
The IIP is committed to providing the best health care to the TRICARE Management Activity beneficiaries, but it will take lots of good ideas that can be developed into initiatives for the process to be successful. We’re hoping you’ll share your ideas with us through the IIP Web site.
