The Military Health System will proudly host its fourth annual remembrance ceremony dedicated to the fallen military medical personnel of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn.

This ceremony focuses on a special group of U.S. military service members; our military medical personnel. These fallen heroes served on the battlefield both as warriors and healers, caring for their comrades in arms while risking and sacrificing their own lives. As Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said, “their office is a battlefield; their job is to save others’ lives while risking their own…and, at times, paying the ultimate price in the performance of their duty.”
