Glossary of Terms
The Military Health System Defense Business Transformation program is empowering the enterprise to reduce complexity and focus investments in support of the DoD medical mission.

Ensuring a Quality Healthcare Experience

We in the Military Health System believe in preserving and enhancing a quality, safe, and satisfying healthcare experience for the personnel and patients in our community. Just as a city or county relies on comprehensive planning and approval processes to ensure that developments effectively serve the needs of citizens, the Military Health System Defense Business Transformation (MHS DBT) program provides a framework to enhance the planning and approval processes for our medical information technology (IT) business solutions.
