The DoD Patient Safety Program (PSP) offers a variety of news products in support of news media outlets and DoD personnel. The following news releases and articles provide additional information to create a greater understanding and awareness of patient safety.

News Releases
This section contains news releases and media advisories from the DoD’s Military Health System (MHS) that pertain to PSP, PSP-generated news release, news releases about the DoD’s PSP, as well as news releases about patient safety in general. 

Publications
This section contains PSP materials designed to assist the Military Health System improve patient safety. These materials include the quarterly PSP Newsletter and monthly eBulletin highlighting program updates, news, and success stories. In addition, various program Fact Sheets are available that can be downloaded and printed as references.

• PSP Quarterly Newsletter - The PSP Quarterly Newsletter provides readers with in-depth articles on the major current and future events of the PSP program, stories/initiatives “from the field”, and comments from program Leadership. The target audience is primarily Patient Safety Managers and military leadership within the Military Health System followed by other healthcare team members and patients of the Military Treatment Facilities, and interested parties within the civilian sector. The newsletter benefits the reader by being another tool to assist them in staying informed and current with Patient Safety related happenings within DoD and beyond. • PSP eBulletin - The PSP eBulletin provides readers with a quick snapshot of PSP program updates, patient safety news, tips you can use, success stories and upcoming educational activities to ensure the entire patient safety community remains informed and engaged.
