PSP Announcements

Nominations open for DoD Patient Safety Awards. The 2011 awards will recognize efforts to improve care delivered to beneficiaries in the MHS. The award identifies those facilities that have shown innovation and commitment to the development of systems and processes that are tightly organized around the needs of the patient. To submit a nomination, or for more information, visit the awards page on the Patient Safety Program website. The deadline to submit is Nov. 4, 2011. Only Army, Navy, and Air Force Military Treatment Facilities are eligible to submit.

Visit the DoD Patient Safety Program exhibit booth at the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management Conference in Phoenix from Oct. 16-18. The DoD PSP will be located at Booth #241. ASHRM’s Annual Conference offers more than 60 specialized educational sessions and will have nearly 2,000 risk professionals in attendance.
