Patient Safety Reporting System Granted Milestone – C

On 11 Jan 2010, the Patient Safety Reporting System (PSR) was granted its Milestone C approval. A Milestone C allows PSR to move forward with implementation and testing at a limited number of designated test sites. The test sites are:

  • Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center, Fort Meade, MD
  • Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, GA
  • Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, WA
  • National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD
  • Naval Hospital Pensacola, Pensacola Naval Air Station, FL
  • Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC
  • 79th Medical Wing, Andrews Air Force Base, MD
  • 59th Medial Wing, Lackland Air Force Base, TX
  • 355th Medical Group, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ

Training on PSR for designated test site Patient Safety Managers, superusers and reviewers will begin 22 Feb 2010, with activation slated to be completed at all test sites by 22 Mar 2010.
