Remember Them Always

In the ongoing war on terrorism, our Nation, the Department of Defense, and our military families have lost their finest sons and daughters. Our allies and civilians in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere have also paid the price in lives lost. We mourn the loss of all who have died in confronting the ruthless and tyrannical enemies they have faced. Our military medics – superbly trained and undeniably courageous – have often run into combat with a singular focus on treating the wounded, and thereby increasing the rate of survival from wounds to levels never witnessed in combat. By their actions, they have also put themselves in harm’s way. And our medics have fallen in service in significant numbers. This link honors their service and provides a face and a story to these heroes to whom we are all grateful.
