Key Functions

The Deputy Assistant Director for Information Operations (DAD IO/J6) is responsible for policies, management, and execution of information technology operations at and between the military medical treatment facilities. Our portfolio includes:

Division What We Do 
Business Operations Provide essential strategic, operations, administrative and personnel support to ensure all functions are carried out in compliance with DHA, DOD and federal laws and regulations
Portfolio & Research Management Provide planning, programming, budgeting, financial execution and contract tracking and approvals processing support to enable delivery of IT solutions and services across the MHS enterprise.
Engineering, Solutions Architecture & IT Business Analytics Recommend and advise on the technical strategy, business operations, and security architecture of IT infrastructure, networks, and platforms delivered to the global DOD Healthcare enterprise.
Solution Delivery Provide and sustain information technology capabilities that support the delivery of health care to our service members from battlefield to the home front.
Infrastructure and Operations Deliver and sustain flexible and efficient cyberinfrastructure services in support of health care delivery for the MHS by identifying and implementing proven advances in technology.
Market Technology: Desktop to Datacenter To be the central trusted leader for all CIOs/IT leaders in the realm of Information Management/Information Technology by championing unified communications and business services.
Cybersecurity Direct the implementation of DOD cybersecurity mandates and coordinate compliance reporting and issue resolution between DHA Organizations and DOD, to include cybersecurity issuances, incidents, and Deputy Secretary of Defense Scorecard.
