The Joint Executive Council (JEC):
- Oversees development & implementation of VA/DOD Joint Strategic Plan (JSP)
- Oversees Health & Benefits Executive Councils
- Identifies opportunities to enhance mutually beneficial services and resources
- Submits the Annual Report to Secretaries and Congress including progress of the JSP
