Hospital Falls and Falls Prevention

Throughout the discussion you’ll learn what practices hospitals should stop doing, and hear evidence around what we need to all start doing to reduce injuries from falls and immobility. Expert panelists discuss the Health Research and Educational Trust (HRET) Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) Fall Myth Busting: What to Stop Doing to Start Improving resource. Panelists will also review the evidence related to Fall TIPS (Tailoring Interventions for Patient Safety) and will provide listeners with tangible recommendations for implementing a hospital-based fall prevention program that will reduce both patient falls and fall-related injuries.
