Patient Safety Professionals Course

As a patient safety professional, your role is to collaborate with staff, leadership, and other patient safety, quality, and process improvement personnel to promote a culture of safety. This includes activities such as analyzing and identifying trends from adverse event reports; supporting educational programs in patient safety; helping spread leading practices from adverse events; and developing, implementing, and evaluating patient safety initiatives.

Patient safety professionals who demonstrate their dedication to ongoing professional achievement in the field of patient safety are eligible for the PSM Ongoing Learning Program Certificate. 

Candidates for this certificate must attend the Patient Safety Professionals Course.
