Each overseas area has a TRICARE Area Office that:
- Works with Commanders at local military hospitals and clinics to deliver health care in each overseas area.
- Represents the management organization for the overseas contractor to ensure an integrated health care delivery system for the area of responsibility.
- Can help with complex questions or concerns not resolved with the TRICARE Overseas Program, International SOS.
- For assistance, look up a country-specific toll-free number.
TRICARE Area Office Eurasia-Africa
The Eurasia-Africa Area includes the European and African continents, and all Middle Eastern countries. The TAO-EA is located in Sembach, Germany.
TRICARE Area Office Latin America and Canada
The Latin America and Canada Area includes Latin America (including the Caribbean Basin), Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The TAO-LAC is located in San Antonio, Texas.
TRICARE Area Office Pacific
The Pacific Area includes Guam, Japan, Korea, and Western Pacific Remote countries. The TAO-Pacific is located in Okinawa, Japan.
