Guest Presenter: Deanna Denman, Ph.D. is a Clinical Health Psychologist at the US Army Institute of Surgical Research Burn Center where she specializes in trauma recovery and behavioral health in medical rehabilitation settings. Her expertise lies in trauma-informed care, non-pharmacological pain management, and recovery from traumatic injuries. Dr. Denman has extensive clinical experience with burn and orthopedic injury patients, integrating evidence-based approaches—including motivational interviewing—to support adjustment, pain management, and long-term recovery.
