Medical Modeling and Simulation Experts Make Military Exercise More Realistic, Effective
The Defense Health Agency’s Defense Medical Modeling & Simulation Office provided subject matter experts to support Exercise Northern Strike 2023, which took place at multiple training areas throughout Michigan, Aug. 12-15, involving more than 7,000 participants from 25 states, one territory, and four international partners.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be conducting a nationwide alert test at approximately 2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. This test will be directed to all consumer cell phones, radios, and televisions.
DOD has put forth multiple DOD and service-specific policies that establish the sexual assault prevention and response programs and address other issues around sexual assault in the DOD. For authoritative and up-to-date policy information related to sexual assault and harassment, refer to the Sexual Assault Response and Prevention website, which also includes descriptions of different types of policies and their implications (e.g., directive versus instruction).
The following two instructions provide information on sexual harassment prevention and response policies. Be advised, however, that these processes will likely change significantly with recent legislative changes.
