TBI Education and Training Events

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high quality health services to Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS. Providing education and training opportunities enables a Medically Ready Force, a Ready Medical Force, improving the health of all those entrusted to its care.

Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence

TBICoE offers training opportunities and resources along the care continuum of TBI management from prevention to recovery for military and civilian health care providers. These trainings support TBICoE's provider resources, are free and some offer continuing education credit. TBI educators, known as regional education coordinators, or RECs, are also available to provide training on clinical tools and patient resources. Learn more about the REC program by visiting the TBI Educators page or email the TBICoE education branch to request a specific TBI training with an REC nearest you.

National Intrepid Center of Excellence

The National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) is dedicated to improving the lives of patients and families affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI) through collaborative efforts with patients, families, referring providers, and researchers. The NICoE Education Webinar Series is a monthly virtual lecture series aimed at educating patients, families, providers, and researchers about TBI and associated health conditions.
