Lapse in Federal Appropriations

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status. Visit www.dha.mil/shutdown for more information.

Medical Student Rotation Information

We welcome third and fourth year medical students to rotate with us for Family medicine clerkships, Sub-I’s, and electives in Family Medicine or Sports Medicine.

Rotation Opportunities

Family Medicine Rotation

  • 4-week rotation
  • Scheduled with PGY2, PGY3 and faculty in both inpatient, Labor & Delivery, and outpatient clinics
  • Additional time spent in OMT, acupuncture, botox for migraines, minor procedures, and sports medicine specialty clinics
  • One half day of didactics weekly
  • One half day of Osteopathic didactics per month

Sports Medicine Elective

  • 4-week rotation
  • Scheduled in Sports Medicine Specialty Clinic approximately 6-8 half days per week
  • One half day of didactics weekly, if D.O. one half day of Osteopathic didactics per month
  • Additional time in PGY2, PGY3, and faculty outpatient clinics
