The Immunization Essentials Course is a virtual course conducted over two days (4.5 hours each day) and is designed to ensure healthcare personnel are trained in vaccine policy, vaccine safety, and effectiveness. Day 1 and Day 2 of this course are separated by seven days.

Healthcare personnel working within military hospitals or clinics or affiliated field settings who manage vaccine programs or administer vaccines are encouraged to attend this course, hosted by the IHD North Atlantic Region Vaccine Safety Hub. Our expert-led sessions deliver practical insights and foster meaningful discussions on a wide range of immunization topics.

This course is approved for up to 8 hours of Continuing Education Units, based on attendance for both days of live instruction. Each lecture offers 0.5 to 1.5 continuing education credit. You can register on JKO by searching for Course number DHA-US1473, Section 003. You can register for CE through MODS with the activity ID # 2024-1230 starting 30 days prior to the event.
