The Military Heath System (MHS) developed and open sourced the OTM Business Analytics Tool (BAT) in 2012 in order to better analyze the MHS’ complex health information technology portfolio. The OTM team within the EHR Modernization Branch uses the BAT to collect and analyze data on legacy IT systems worth more than $2.4 Billion across the MHS.
