Depleted Uranium in Kosovo: Post-Conflict Environmental Assessment

This report presents the findings of the first-ever international assessment of the environmental impact of depleted uranium (DU) when used in a real conflict situation. It has been carried out as part of the post-conflict assessments conducted by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in the Balkans.

Lifescan, Inc. Pleads Guilty

Lifescan was charged with introducing and delivering a misbranded medical device, the SureStep blood glucosemonitoring device, failing and refusing to furnish appropriate notifications and information to the Food and Drug Administration and with respect to a medical device, submitting false and misleading reports to the Food and Drug Administration.

Civil Complaint Filed Against Dr. Forrest H. Braack

The four-count complaint charges Braack violated the Federal False Claims Act by submitting false and fraudulent claims to Government funded insurance programs including, Tricare, Medicareand the State of Missouri Medicaid program.

The Healthcare Company Pleads Guilty

The investigation represents the largest Government fraud settlement ever reached in U.S. history.

Environmental Exposure Report

Environmental Exposure Reports are reports of what we know today about certain events of the 1990-1991 Gulf War. This particular environmental exposure report focuses on the use of, and exposures to, depleted uranium (DU).

Steven Carl Bradley Convicted

A jury convicted Steven Carl Bradley of six counts of mail fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud.
