DeGoes, U.S. Air Force Surgeon General, and their transfer of authority. A formal change of command ceremony is Sept. 10, 2025, at the Defense Health Headquarters, Falls Church, Virginia, to commemorate the transition.

The rotation reinforced medical interoperability, strengthened expeditionary readiness, and advanced shared goals across the Defense Health Network Europe and the broader Department of Defense healthcare enterprise.
