Command Sgt. Maj. Kalani Kalili stands with her youngest son, Pfc. Israel Kalili, a recent graduate of the U.S. Army Infantry School. As a military Mom, “I have a whole new appreciation of serving our nation in uniform and a great deal of respect for this new generation that is joining the Army.” As a military brat herself, Command Sgt. Maj. Kalili said she is very proud of her son for continuing the legacy of military service to our country. “When Israel picked this path, he was like ‘look Mom, I know I can do it’ and I am very proud that I have a son who will take that hard path because not many will.”
