Mr. Darrell Landreaux

Mr. Darrell Landreaux is the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Health Resources Management and Policy (HRM&P). As DASD/HRM&P Landreaux is the principle financial advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs. Landreaux is responsible for overall financial policy and programs within the Defense Health Program. In this capacity, he provides oversight of the $50+ billion Defense Health Program (DHP) Appropriation. He develops enterprise-wide financial policy that both supports and promotes the Military Health System's strategic imperatives and ensures alignment with the Department of Defense's National Military Strategy.

Landreaux is a results-driven executive leveraging 30+ years of global financial success with a proven record of progressively affecting projects/programs in private industry, city government, DOD agencies, and military and healthcare sectors. Landreaux retired from the United States Air Force with the rank of Colonel in 2014. Landreaux completed his military service as the Acting Director, Business Support Directorate of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), where he played a pivotal role in standing up the Defense Health Agency. Upon retirement from the U.S. Air Force Landreaux was hired as the Deputy Director, Business Support Directorate in the DHA before moving to Health Affairs as the senior financial analyst.

Landreaux graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Public Administration and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University.
