Welcome to the Department of Defense Cancer Clearinghouse!

This webpage supports DOD’s military hospitals and clinics that provide cancer/oncology services.

In the Military Health System, we have accredited and designated Cancer Centers of Excellence. This includes the John P. Murtha Cancer Center, located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. We'll soon have more designated cancer centers at other major DOD medical centers.

The DOD provides cancer services of all types across our health care facilities. If you're a patient, provider, or someone else who's interested in referring a patient or asking questions about our cancer services or cancer in general, this webpage is your resource.

If you're a provider, you'll be able set up a Virtual Tumor Board to discuss a case. You'll also be able to establish regular Virtual Tumor Boards between your institution and the DOD providers in our cancer community.

For patient referrals, we'll be a clearinghouse to “match” your request and needs with your closest DOD medical facility that offers the capabilities you need.

Check back for regular updates and links on this page.
