Light Duty

Definition:

A period when a Service member reports to their work space but is excused from performing certain aspects of military duties. Individuals are placed on light duty when they have conditions that are temporary in nature and when recovery or stabilization is expected to return them to a fully “deployable” or “deployable with limitations” status.
