West Africa Ebola: November 12, 2015
This is a biosurveillance summary of West Africa Ebola as of November 12, 2015. WHO declared Sierra Leone to be Ebola transmission-free on 7 NOV after 42 days had passed with no new cases. Sierra Leone joins Liberia in a 90-day period of heightened surveillance. Liberia was declared free of Ebola on 3 SEP. Read more:

This is a biosurveillance summary of West Africa Ebola as of November 5, 2015. According to WHO on 4 NOV, between 26 OCT and 1 NOV there was one new confirmed Ebola virus disease (EVD) case in Forecariah, Guinea. The case is the newborn child of one of the three cases confirmed in Forecariah last week. Read more:

According to WHO on 28 OCT, between 19 OCT and 25 OCT there were three new confirmed Ebola virus disease (EVD) cases in Forecariah, Guinea; all three lived in the household of a known case and were registered contacts.
