Guido Valdes, director of the Defense Health Network Pacific Rim (DHNPR) and Commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific, leads an executive planning session with leaders from all nine medical treatment facilities (MTF) within the network. During the session, network leaders discussed calendar year 2024 priorities, mission requirements, and direct care optimization. DHNPR is one of nine networks, each led by a flag or general officer, that was stood up by the Defense Health Agency in October 2023 to strengthen the management of health care delivery and combat support.
