Guido Valdes, director of the Defense Health Network Pacific Rim (DHNPR), provides remarks as a guest speaker at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton’s 10th anniversary celebration. Valdes, who is also the Commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific, focused on the accomplishments of the military and civilian staff, commending them for the care they give our Sailors, Marines, and their families. The event was attended by several “plank owners,” a Navy term for individuals who were members of a ship’s crew at commissioning, and it ended with a traditional cake cutting.
