The Defense Health Headquarters Library (formerly Defense Medical Virtual Library) is a full-service library providing online mission-essential information resources and library services such as literature searching, research support, and interlibrary loan to personnel stationed at the following locations:

• DHHQ in Falls Church, VA
• Gateway Annex in Falls Church, VA
• DHA office in Aurora, CO
• Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, The Pentagon
• DHHQ liaison office, The Pentagon

When on the DHA network (onsite or VPN), DHHQ Library patrons should use this DHA Virtual Medical Library site to access library resources. Patrons not on the DHA network - including patrons at the Pentagon - should access library resources through the DHHQ Library OpenAthens remote access platform. Here is the self-registration form. DHA/MHS personnel stationed at other facilities should use the DHA Virtual Medical Library or contact their local facility libraries for information resources and services.
