Primary Care Behavioral Health

Primary Care Behavioral Health provides:

  • A team-based approach to health care by integrating behavioral health professionals into primary care.
  • Evidence-based, whole-person assessment, treatment, and prevention of health conditions.

Behavioral health consultants work with patients in primary care to improve health, functioning, and quality of life. InTransition Program

inTransition logoThe inTransition Program is a free confidential program that provides specialized coaching and assistance for service members, National Guard members, reservists, veterans, and retirees who need access to mental health care when relocating to another assignment, returning from deployment, transitioning between active duty and the Reserve component, preparing to leave military service, or any other time they need a new mental health provider.

Psychological Health Resource Center

PHCoE Resource CenterThe Psychological Health Resource Center is available 24/7 for service members, veterans, and family members with questions about psychological health topics. Trained mental health consultants can help you access mental health care and community support resources in your local area.

National Maternal Mental Health Hotline

HRSA’s National Maternal Mental Health Hotline services,833-TLC-MAMA  (833-852 6262)
The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline can help. Call or text 1-833-TLC-MAMA (1-833-852-6262). TTY users can use a preferred relay service or dial 711 and then 1-833-852-6262.

The number can be used by military personnel, but individuals may be charged a fee for calls or texts based on country location. 

  •  While the Hotline is available and accessible to military personnel outside of the Continental United States, Hotline staff may not be able to connect them with providers in their home country. 
  • With 24/7 availability, and support in English, Spanish, and 60 on-demand additional languages via voice and text, connecting with a trained counselor who can provide evidence-based resources and referrals is impactful.
