El Paso, also known as The Sun City has more than 300 days of sunshine and very low humidity. We are home to three minor league teams in baseball, soccer and hockey, two of which play in a new downtown stadium. We host the Sun Bowl every year, NCAA’S second oldest Bowl Game. Fort Bliss is the only Army base that has a state park on it, the Franklin Mountains, which has more than 100 hiking trails. We have a fusion of cuisines offering diverse selections in our foodie city, featuring chefs that were recently nominated for national level awards. From food trucks to farmer’s markets, you’ll be challenged to experience all the exciting tastes of the borderland.
