DHA 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony
Location: MS Teams and in the DHHQ Pavilion
Date: Sept. 11, 2023
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. ET
Please join DHA Deputy Director Michael Malanoski and DHA Senior Enlisted Leader Chief Master Sgt. Tanya Johnson as we reflect on the service and sacrifices of military medical personnel during and after the 9/11 attacks. Many of the medical heroes of 9/11 continue to serve our country and patients today.
The ceremony will feature guest speaker, Dr. James Geiling, a retired Army physician and former director of the 200-person medical clinic in the Pentagon, a position where he was called upon to leverage his disaster response training following the attacks on September 11, 2001.
Join us on MS Teams and in the DHHQ Pavilion. You can download a copy of the program as well.
We recognize this ceremony may trigger strong emotions and memories for members of our team.
