During week 5 of the influenza season, laboratory-confirmed influenza cases, dispensed antiviral prescription counts, and inpatient counts continued to be low. A few states and installations in the US had moderate to high ILI activity, but the majority of the country had minimal to low activity.

During week 4 of the influenza season, laboratory-confirmed influenza cases, dispensed antiviral prescription counts, and inpatient counts were low. Influenza-like activity (ILI) was low, except for several states and installations in the US Southeast, which had moderate to high ILI activity.
