MHS GENESIS is the Military Health System's modern electronic health record that provides a single health record for service members, veterans, and their families. MHS GENESIS:

  • Enhances health, increases readiness, and improves safety
  • Focuses on quality, safety, and patient outcomes to help advance enterprise objectives to transform the MHS into a high-reliability organization
  • Standardizes clinical and business processes across the services and the MHS
  • Enables beneficiaries to be fully engaged in their health care

The MHS GENESIS Patient PortalGoes to the MHS GENESIS patient portal is a secure website for 24/7 access to your health information, including managing appointments and exchanging messages with your care team.

Rx Refills

You can now use the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to request refills for most prescriptions from your military pharmacy. This new feature, which began Feb. 29, 2024, applies to your existing medications that have remaining refills. >>Learn more about Rx Refills on TRICARE.mil
