This TBICoE educational program explores key insights from the congressionally mandated 15-year longitudinal study on traumatic brain injury among service members and veterans who served during the global war on terrorism.

The research examines long-term physical, psychological, and functional outcomes of TBI, as well as evolving healthcare and rehabilitation needs over time. It also highlights the critical impact of TBI on families and caregivers, emphasizing the broader system of support required for recovery. Led by experts in TBI research, this session will translate years of research into actionable insights, offering a deeper understanding of recovery, resilience, and the critical role of families in the journey.
