Medical Modeling and Simulation Experts Make Military Exercise More Realistic, Effective
The Defense Health Agency’s Defense Medical Modeling & Simulation Office provided subject matter experts to support Exercise Northern Strike 2023, which took place at multiple training areas throughout Michigan, Aug. 12-15, involving more than 7,000 participants from 25 states, one territory, and four international partners.

DHA MEDLOG supports the Services and Combatant Commanders by providing review and analysis of medical assemblages. This program, under the oversight of the Operation Medical Materiel Analysis Program (OMMAP) Program Manager, is designed to ensure medical assemblages and their components are modernized, interoperable, interchangeable and standardized, resulting in a high degree of commonality. This process maximizes joint capabilities commensurate with the varying Department of Defense missions and Service uniqueness. Joint integrated process teams may be periodically established to further facilitate service Assemblage Life Cycle Management business processes.
