These meet the requirements of the training standards in the current Joint Regulation on Immunizations and Chemoprophylaxis for the Prevention of Infectious DiseasesImmunization Joint Regulation (for both initial and annual training).
• IHD also offers online distance learninggoes to IHD online training that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via Joint Knowledge Online.

Our curriculum is designed to enhance the skills of health care workers from a variety of professional and paraprofessional backgrounds. CE credits are available for on-site training events.

Immunization Essentials Courses

IHD offers the Immunization Essentials Course, an expert-led virtual training opportunity designed to ensure healthcare personnel are trained in vaccine policy, vaccine safety, and effectiveness. Healthcare personnel working within military hospitals or clinics, or affiliated field settings, who manage vaccine programs or administer vaccines are encouraged to attend these courses, which cover a wide range of immunization topics. Continuing education is available.
