Deployment MART (D-MART)

Pharmacy Operations Division (POD) developed the Deployment MART (D-MART) program to aid health care providers responsible for the medical care of deploying service men and women of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Coast Guard. >>View the D-MART Presentation

The objective is to identify individuals who might require a more intensive medical review or to alert health care providers of medication needs not available in standard deployment packs. The data is delivered as a menu-driven, Microsoft Access database with individual look-up features and predefined reports designed to serve the needs identified by deploying providers.

POD also offers a consultative service to assist in the analysis of the data prior to deployment. The assistance provided by POD has been tailored to the needs of the health care provider and the deploying force. The Pharmacy Data Transaction Service (PDTS) is the data source of this program. PDTS contains prescription data from home delivery, TRICARE network pharmacies and all military pharmacies.

Services Offered

The following services are available to the Army, Navy, Air Force or Coast Guard:

  1. Prescription data of deploying personnel capturing all points of service.
  2. Analysis of data to identify high-risk individuals based on local policy.
  3. Analysis of prescription information to identify potential alternatives available in deployment medication supplies.
  4. Analysis of drug use for the purposes of refining deployment medication supply lists.

We can provide the requested data in 5 business days or sooner if needed; extra analysis provided upon request.
